Monday am: 3 miles around Windridge including a hill loop.
Monday pm: 4.25 miles with Joe and Will in Burlington.
Tuesday: 8.5 mile run through the Intervale with striders in the last mile plus arms.
Wednesday: 7.55 miles. 3 by (30, 60, 90 seconds) uphill. Still feeling crappy.
Thursday am: 7.2 miles with my HR monitor on. Average of 135.
Thursday pm: 3.25 miles with the team.
Friday: 10 miles with 15 minutes continuous tempo via HR. Had a hard time getting my heart rate up high enough. Legs in the evening.
Saturday: 7.3 mile recovery run.
Sunday: 15 mile long run on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. What an amazing place I knew NOTHING about!

Finally got a decent week of training in, although I have yet to sleep through the night without a coughing fit. It’s my first week off and on a truly training focused schedule so I’m getting used to sleeping 10 hours a night and resting as much as possible, but I’m excited for the impact of some decent rest and recovery!
Phase 3 starts tomorrow and training gets serious quickly with 16 by 400 on the docket for Tuesday and 5 by mile at Tempo for Thursday. I’ll do my long run on Friday this week as we have a wedding in the Adirondacks over the weekend but I’m looking forward to getting some running in up there as well.
